Until now, “Social Skateboarding” has consisted on donating a CreamGrip to NGOs that educate boys and girls through skateboarding in places of conflict and / or development, for each CreamGrip sold.
After traveling to Palestine and Ethiopia to donate more than 500 CreamGrips, 100 skateboards, school supplies and clothes, we realized that we were not really helping the communities, and we realized that if we really wanted to help we needed to collaborate long-term with an NGO.
That is when our collaboration with Be In Africa (association in Spain) & Born in Africa (the local counterpart) for the development of “Social Skateboarding” was born. The objective is to achieve the economic independence of the community through sports and entrepreneurship programs that provide them with the necessary tools, disappear from the community and replicate “Social Skateboarding” in another community. For this we donate 5% of the profits in addition to directing and being responsible for the board of directors of Be in Africa.
We encourage people who like our project and feel identified with the cause to donate what they can, in order to reach the entire skate community, improve the CreamGrip and research and develop new revolutionary products.
Take a look at our partners and enjoy watching our tours to these wonderful countries.
